This Holy Week, enjoy our Torrija con Helado de Vainilla available for $12 at all Little Spain restaurants and Que Sweet from March 24 - March 31!

Dating all the way back to the 5th century, torrijas originally gained popularity during Lent when meat was eaten less frequently and bread production was on the rise. With frequent leftovers, Spaniards got creative, soaking slices in milk, sugar, lemon zest and cinnamon, and then frying to perfection.

Many enjoy it with honey but we don’t stop there, adding homemade vanilla ice cream too!
